06.26.18
6-foot, 165-pound athletic frame. Long clean arm stroke from a ¾ slot. His fastball jumped out of his hand with easy effort at 85-87, he had a hard sweeping slider at 76-78, and showed feel for a changeup with slight sink at 77 mph. Huerta has fluidness, balance, and looseness in his delivery. He has a high balance point, works with direction to the plate, lands square, has a quick arm, and an athletic finish with a recoil in his arm. There is still room for Huerta to grow as a pitcher, and the natural tools are there with the arm strength, fluidity, and command in the strike zone.
