08.05.17 - Munton has a strong, muscular frame at 6-foot, 190-pounds. He is an advanced switch hitter with bat speed and power from both sides of the plate. He has smooth rhythm from both the right-and left side which gives him the ability to deliver the barrel on time as well as drive the ball. From the left-side in game one, he was 1-for-2 with a hard ground ball through the middle. In game two, batting right-handed in his first at-bat, Munton destroyed a triple to deep center field. From the left side he laced a line drive into the left-centerfield gap. In game three, from the left side, he scorched a ground ball that would have been a double play, but he beat the play at first base. Athletic for his size, Munton also ran 7.05-second 60-yard dash. Defensively, he posted pop times of 2.0-2.12 during the workout, while also throwing out a runner a game to record the hat-trick.

From the left side, Munton has an open stance, rolling his front side to square up while he loads his hands over his back shoulder. Natural lift in the hand path as he is able to launch balls to the pull side with pop. Defensively, Munton has an athletic setup with solid lower half mobility. Hands work, clean, quick exchange with in-line footwork and rhythm through the ball. on throws to second base. Velocity from the crouch was 78 mph with pop times ranging from 2.04-2.12.
