Short stride, lands with separation, smooth hack with an easy weight transfer and quick bat through the zone. Inside-out path with a line drive approach and a top exit velocity of 80 mph. On the infield, Gaurnere has quick feet as he plays through the ball with soft hands and threw with a top velocity of 84 mph. A two-way player and right-handed pitcher, Gaurnere works from an over the top slot with some deception in his delivery and arm stroke. The fastball has arm side life at 80-82, threw a couple of quality sliders with short, late break at 73-74, and throws his changeup with same arm speed and fade at 72-75.
