Notes: Coming off TJ from a year ag, it was good to see the 6’8” 245 lbs.right-hander back on the hill for the Tigers. Shores tossed 2 innings and gave up 1 ER on 2 H with 1 BB and 1 K. He ran his FB up to 97 and sat mostly 93-95 from a lower release height. It was more control over command for Shores on Sunday with his FB and he didn’t seem to have the best feel for his SL. The lone run that he gave up came in his second inning, where he walked the leadoff batter on 5 pitches and then
he advanced to 2 nd on a wild pitch. That runner ended up scoring, after Shores induced a groundball to SS and Braswell made a throwing error to 1 st base on the play.
