Beginning his collegiate career at Houston, the long, lanky 6-foot-3 lefty transferred to San Jacinto where he earned 1st team All-Region honors this past spring. As the Gators closer McMillan struck out 53 in 36.1 IP, while earning 9 saves. His heavy fastball has reached 93-94 as a reliever, but is more 90-92 in his current starting role with Wazzou. His low-80s curveball shows top-to-bottom action and he can also slide his breaker at 85-87. McMillan is expected to win a spot in the Cougars weekend rotation.

Houston recruit. 6-foot-3, 175-pound, projectable, long-limbed frame. Works from a high slot, starts delivery with hands over head, creates steep down-angle. Fastball comes out of the hand with zip and he pounds fastballs in upper part of strike zone. Mainly works in the 84-87 mph range. Throws a 12-6 curveball with decent spin and downward action, and should get better with time. High upside.
