Body: 6-3, 174-pounds. Lean with good build/frame to add strength. Will have good body with physical maturity and added strength.
Hit: RHH. Short stride, lands in nice position to hit. Rotational back foot, hits into firm front side, upright posture at contact. Limited use of lower 1/2, hip in swing. Spin with back foot, foot will slide away from plate on occasion. Work to develop ability to drive hip forward hard into firm front side. This will help get lower 1/2 in swing and increase ability to impact baseball. Barrel/hands in good position to hit, nice job of taking hands/barrel to hit zone. Bat speed present. Will occasionally cutoff swing, work to stay thru baseball with extension. 70.4 mph bat speed with 6 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 99 max exit velocity, averaged 89.8 mph. 223' max distance. Upside. Nice bat/power combo in future with ability to exceed. Opportunities for adjustments present to increase ability to impact baseball along with increase contact consistency. Not close to what he can be.
Arm: RH. INF-90 mph. Arm works well with carry to throws. Arm speed present.
Defense: Solid 1st step, moves well to baseball getting body into position to field. Feet work well in fielding process. Hands are solid, will occasionally field baseball deep. Work to be consistent with hinge at hip to get hands out in front. Solid actions present.
ATH: 6.99 runner in the 60. Shows solid run time. Foot speed present with nice length to stride. Good run form. Project he develops into plus runner in future.

Colton Quesada is a versatile two-way player who impressed with both his pitching and hitting at Denton Ryan. The 6'3", 175 lb athlete moved well on the field and showcased an above-average arm, making it clear that he can stick on the left side of the infield. On the mound, Quesada was up to 90 mph with his fastball (87-89 T90) and also showed a solid slider (74-76), curveball (69-71), and changeup (73-75). At the plate, he posted a max exit velocity of 99.1 mph and recorded an infield velocity of 90 mph. With a 60-yard dash time of 6.99, Quesada’s combination of size, arm strength, and athleticism makes him a strong prospect to follow closely this summer as his game continues to evolve.
