Filipp ran a 6.85 laser-timed 60. At the plate he hits from an athletic stance with rhythm and looseness in his upper body, his hands are high by his right ear and load back with his balanced leg kick to create separation, he works from behind the baseball and flashed the ability to barrel up the ball to right field in BP; exit velocity 82 mph off the tee.
