10.14.18
Garcia has a broad shouldered, high-waisted frame that projects to add even more strength in the next year at 6-foot-1, 185-pounds. The left-handed hitter starts from a tall, wide base with relaxed hands, then loads up as he triggers his hands and tips the barrel forward, and taking a short stride. Hands work through the zone with looseness, creating lag in the barrel to go with leverage and lift to create a top exit velocity of 89 mph. At first bae, Garcia has soft hands to go with quality glove action on picks around the bag. Plays through the ball with smooth footwork and clean exchange into a natural left-handed arm slot with a short, clean stroke that allows him to make accurate throws to start the double play with a top velocity of 79 mph.

6-foot, 180-pound strong frame. The left-handed hitter starts from a wide, neutral base before using a leg lift to load and trigger his hands back. Soft stride, lands square, barrel gets on plane early with natural lift, high finish, and an exit velocity of 75 mph. At first base, Garcia has good rhythm through the ball with quick footwork, soft hands and quick exchange. Accurate throws to bases with a quick, elbow dominant arm stroke, throws from different slots with feel at 75 mph.
