Harris continues to impress me with each viewing. The barrel to ball skills are really good, and he has the ability to spoil pitches until he gets something he can put a good swing on. He had a LD single in the 1st, and then showed his speed with an infield single later in the game. I got him at a 4.13 down the line, and it wasn’t the cleanest start. I believe he has room to get stronger and faster at the next level. Harris’s stock keeps rising and somebody is gonna get one of the steals of the 2023 class in Texas.
Harris caught my eye with his athleticism and bat speed. The LHH has some quick hands in the batter’s box, and on a 2 strike swing showed them off flicking a ball the opposite way over the LF’s head for a double. He is high waisted and has bounce in everything he does. There is still some strength to be added as well. He is a good runner in the 6.7-6.8 range and will be one to follow for sure this spring.
