Unconventional timing disruptions, a leaping drive toward home plate, a tight, quick arm circle and aggressive arm-speed has allowed the 5-10 170-pound right-hander produce a very solid season on the mound. His fastball, which clocks in at 84-86 T87, has late action and appears to jump late in its path to the plate. He offers up a snappy 11/4 shape curveball at 68-72, that generates a healthy dose of friendly contact or empty swings up in the zone. Klosowski keeps hitters off time by varying his leg lifts and arm circles. Nearly throwing a complete-game, which was spoiled by an errant throw on a potential game-ending double play, Klosowski’s pitch limit forced him out of the game after 6 2/3 innings. He tallied 7 strikeouts, while giving up 3 runs on 8 hits. He also had two hits on the evening, including an RBI double.
