3/2/19: Standing 5-foot-10 and weighing 190 pounds, Villarreal showed good arm action during his 2.2 inning outing on Saturday against Texas State. He occasionally rushed and pulled off with his delivery, but for the most part threw strikes with an 88-91 mph fastball and a near-average 82-85 mph slider. Had fair deception from a high three-quarter slot as hitters got a good look and took good swings. (Seifert)
