Great build/frame to add strength. Solid delivery and arm action. FB 91-94 showing avg life, come back life to glove side present. FB with carry up in zone. SL 80-82, CB 78 both showing ability to get swing and miss. Change 82-84 with action, showing developing deception. Prospect, Low Follow. Will thrower harder, feel for secondary developing. Was around the zone in his outing.

Griffin is a pocket follow with a long, lanky build. His arm works well, and he repeats his delivery with ease. He topped out at 91 mph with his fastball, which has tail to the arm side. It got up to 94 at Cary this week during USA. His slider sat at 78-80 mph with short, downward action, and his changeup sat at 80 mph. He’s a strike thrower and could see another velocity spike in the future. Has the frame of a Friday night guy, and the stuff is starting to match.
