Positional Profile: RHP/OF Melanson is consistent accurate pitcher who has the raw skills to devolpe his game to the next level, Mostly a striker thrower but can use his offspeed better in all counts with more physicallity and confidence he will have success at the next level.

Delivery: Slow tempo with his hands set by back shoulder, Doesnt load into his back leg resulting in an upper half dominate rotation, Lands well and consistently.
Arm Action: RH. OTT arm slot with ok arm speed, reaches extension well with all pitches.
FB: T84, 83-84 mph. FB is consistent and has natural movement that will get better as he devolpes physically. T1909, 1805 average rpm.
SL: 76-78 mph. Good late break that can be flat at times if not thrown hard enough but has good deception. T2236, 2085 average rpm.
CH: 75-77 mph. Struggles to consistently pronate, but has good downward movement and is his best secondary pitch. T1711, 1645 average rpm.
