In the outfield, he plays through the ball with quickish footwork and clean exchange before throwing from a high-¾ slot with a top velocity of 84 mph. A two-way player and left-handed pitcher, Amador threw his fastball 75-77, but he also throws a 1/7 shaped slider at 70-72 mph, and he can command three pitches for strikes, including his 73-75 mph changeup.
