06.26.17 - Texas A&M recruit. 6-foot-5, 200-pound, long limbed, athletic frame. The right-handed hitter barreled up everything he saw on Wednesday, including going 2-for-3 with two doubles and fly ball to center field. Britt moves easy on the field with a long, easy, running strides for his long-limbed frame, running a 6.97-second 60 yard dash and throwing with accuracy and carry from the outfield. He has a compact swing with easy rhythm and power, even considering his long-limbed frame. The rising junior put together a solid batting practice, displaying bat speed, strength in the barrel and projectable, easy power.
05.21.17
The 6-foot-4, 200-pound, Texas A&M recruit showed up to the Houston Underclass Trials and put on an outstanding display of power and athleticism. Britt is currently ranked No. 7 in the Texas 2019 Class, and No. 23 in PBR Overall Ranking. He began the day by running a 6.94-second 60-yard dash, then threw 92 mph from the outfield, and registered an exit velocity of 97 mph. He showed premium bat speed and strength at contact during batting practice with a wooden bat. Britt has an athletic lower half with easy rhythm and transfers his weight through contact. The right-handed hitter uses the middle-to-pull side of the field and has some lift in his hand path, driving multiple balls to the wall and a couple for home runs. With his long-limbed, athletic frame, look for big things from Britt this summer.
04.28.17 - Texas A&M recruit. 6-foot-4, 200-pound, athletic, projectable frame. Britt, a right-handed hitter, has an athletic swing and finishes the barrel with juice. With the wind blowing in, he hammered a line drive that was caught by the left-fielder. In his third at-bat, Britt just missed a fastball, popping up to shortstop with a 6.14-second hang time.
03.23.17 - Texas A&M recruit. 6-foot-4, 190-pound, long limbed, high-waisted, athletic frame. The right handed hitter went 2-for-4 on the night with two double, both down the left field line, and both in the same inning. Britt, who was recently ranked No. 7 prospect in Texas 2019 class, is one of the most athletic players in the state. This athleticism was on display when he was caught in a run down between third and home on a safety squeeze. When most players panic, Britt calmly made a move, then another with a head-fake, and the next thing you know, he scores on a poor throw. Britt also plays football in the fall.
