1.21.19
A big body at 6-5 190-pounds and has a ton of room to mature and develop the frame. At the plate he uses his leverage well to launch balls well consistency and force, peaking his exit velocity at 91 mph. He uses his hips well to transfer force and has very repeatable swing mechanics. On the mound, Durham is a work from high overhead with a slight glove-side pull. He gets good tilt along with hard, late heavy life to the arm side with his 78-79 mph fastball. He pulls down a 12/6 shape curveball at 65-66 for strikes. Durham showed a 73-75 mph circle-changeup and a 69-70 mph splitter. Both changeup variations had good downhill action, the splitter taking on a sharper arm side movement, while the circle change faded with more vertical action.
