A short leg lift and quick drive off the rubber from his toes into a slightly cross-body landing. He throws from a compact ¾ slot, pulling acceleration from shoulder rotation following a backside dip for leverage. His fastball, which showed hard tailing action worked from 81-83 mph. His slider has late lateral break at 66-68 and natural tilt on his glove side at release. Ybarra’s changeup mirrors his fastball with accentuated arm side movement, and he repeats it seamlessly for strikes at 74-76.
