Texas A&M recruit has a short, strong frame. Pitched at 86-88 mph and showed advanced feel for a fading changeup in the high 70s. He also mixed in a slurvy breaking ball. He pounds the strike zone, throwing 77 percent strikes and first-pitch strikes to 17 of the 23 batters he faced. He allowed three runs on four hits and a hit batter while striking out nine across six innings.

5-foot-11, 195-pounds. The Texas A&M commit works from a high-¾ slot with a low effort delivery, and a simple, clean arm swing. Sinking fastball at 87-90, topping out at 91, induces a number of ground ball outs. Changeup was 78-81 mph, left it up in the first inning, but the pitch has a chance to plus as he throws it with fastball arm speed from the same window. Breaking ball is more of a slurve at 70-73 with 10/4 shape and gradual depth. Allowed a run in the first on a bloop single, but had a really sharp second inning, getting two ground ball outs and a punchout on a slider.
Texas A&M commit. Approximately 5-11, 180-pounds. The right-hander works from a high-¾ slot with a medium arm circle, clean arm swing, and low effort, repeatable delivery. His fastball started out at 89-90, touched 92 a couple of times in the first, settled in to the 88-89 range. The ball comes out clean with average life. Changeup was his go to pitch at 79-81 mph with depth. His slider had 10-4 action with some hump coming out of his hand. Got better as his outing went on, earned the win over a quality offensive club with six innings pitched. Scattered six hits, four walks, allowed only two runs, struck out one.
