09.23.17 -  6-foot-1, 185-pound, loose, projectable, athletic, high-waisted frame. The right-hander works from an over the top slot with a long, loose arm swing and repeatable, efficient delivery and more velocity to come in the future. Pounds the zone with steady FB/CB mix. His fastball worked 83-86 mph with some downward tilt. Can really spin 12/6 hammer curveball with good shape and depth in any count at 74-75 mph, threw several that buckled hitters early in count, and got swings and misses with two-strikes at the bottom of the zone. Mixed in one changeup at 80 mph with fastball arm speed and arm side fade as he turns it over at release. With Boase’s frame, loose arm and ability to command a curveball, he would be an excellent addition to a recruiting class.

01.16.17 - 6-foot-1, 165-pound, long-limbed frame. The right-hander works from a high-¾ slot with longer arm-stroke. Smooth delivery with some athleticism down the mound, landing square. Fastball has some downward tilt at 80-82 mph. Slider shows cutter-like action at 76-78 mph. The right-handed hitter starts from an athletic, slightly crouched stance. He gets started with a smooth load, into a slower leg-kick, landing aggressively with his hands back. Shows good rhythm in his hands with the ability to drive the ball to the pull side with back spin. Finishes with good leverage and weight transfer in his lower half. Boase registered an exit velocity of 86 mph. In the outfield, Boase shows fluid actions and clean exchange, playing through the ball with good rhythm. Throws from an over the top slot with a long arm-stroke at 84 mph. The ball has good carry and solid accuracy. Ran a 7.86 60-yard dash.
