Positional Profile: C/1B Ogden has a smooth swing that can play at the next level showing plus power and good contact ability. Can be solid behind if he polishes up his skils recieving and continues to get stronger.
Body: 6-2, 204-pounds. Tall physical frame with a solid lower half.
Hit: LHH. spread out and open stance, hands slightly cocked back with flared elbow. Stays in his back leg well, hands come through the zone quickly and gets full extension to catch balls out front. 69.6 mph bat speed with 13 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 97 max exit velocity, averaged 89.7 mph. 363' max distance. Ogden covers the whole plate with solid contact and easy pop to all fields. Really has a good feel for his barrel and showed some impressive exit velos buring bp and the game.
Arm: RH. C-79 mph. Solid arm that has good cary to 2nd with a short arm action and release from behind the ear. Puts the ball on the bag well.
Defense: 1.95-2.01 pop times. Good defensive actions during the game, has quick feet and good transitions, Glove could be a bit softer with sticking pitches.
ATH: 6.97 runner in the 60. Runs fairly well at hisage with long strides. Comes up out of his legs and stands up early as he is accelerating. 21.90 max vertical.
Positional Profile: C/1B Ogden is a high IQ player with good power making him an ideal candidate at the catcher position.
Body: 6-2, 202-pounds.
Hit: LHH. Wide stance, front foot open. Starts with bat on shoulder and a small hunch. Hips get through as the hands follow right after. One hand finish. 70.6 mph bat speed with 12 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 92 max exit velocity, averaged 84.7 mph. 328' max distance. Power will come as he fills out his frame physcially. Solid contact overall.
Arm: RH. C-79 mph. OTT release, strong and mostly accurate.
Defense: 2.01-2.04 pop times. Good pop time, good footwork and mechanics.
ATH: 7.10 runner in the 60. 1.69 and 3.94 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. 25.80 max vertical.
