6-foot-4, 220-pounds, projectable body. Medium arm swing, lower half takes short stride to get on top for leverage. Fastball worked 78-82 mph with running action late on arrival, showed a 1/7 shape curveball at 69-73 with depth, and spotted up changeup at 74 mph.

Drake has a strong, projectable pitcher’s frame at 6-foot-4, 205-pounds. The left-hander works from predominantly from the stretch with a medium arm swing from a high-¾ slot and a tilt-and-topple delivery. His fastball flashes arm side run at 80-81 mph. Curveball has downer 1/7 shape at 69-71, and he turns his changeup over with arm side fade at 73 mph.

Drake has a projectable, sturdy frame at 6-foot-4, 205-pounds. Works predominantly from the stretch with a drop-and-drive delivery, releasing the ball from a high slot with a medium arm circle. His fastball sat 78-81 with mostly straight action. His curveball has 1/7 shape with at 68 mph.

The left-hander has a big 6-4, 205-pound frame with wide shoulders.  Drake throws from a high ¾ arm slot, is high in his back leg at his balance point, and then gets low into his back leg on the way down the mound.  Drake has direction in-line to the plate with his leg drive and his shoulders in his delivery, and threw all three of his pitches around the strike zone.  His fastball was 78-82 mph. He threw a slider with tight spin and late action at 69-73 mph, and showed the ability to bury this pitch to a right-handed hitter’s back foot.  He also threw his change at 74 mph.
