On the infield, Pierce has a clean, elbow dominant arm stroke and is an accurate thrower at 83 mph across the diamond. He has quick feet and soft hands that should allow him to stay at third base as he continues to develop. A two-way player and right-handed pitcher, Pierce works from a high-¾ slot with a clean, short arm stroke and drop-and-drive delivery. His fastball ranged from 75-77 mph, while his curveball showed 11/5 shape and depth at 67-68 mph.
