5/15/19: Listed at 6-foot, 190-pounds, Langeliers has a strong, muscular frame. High end arm strength behind the plate with a quick exchange and short arm stroke, he gets rid of the ball quickly and throws strikes to second base with true carry all the way through the bag. Athletic defender, soft hands, blocks easy with great lower half mobility and the ability to move laterally. Offensive, right-handed hitter with a short, simple swing that provides high end bat speed. Showed quality pitch recognition, and hammered two doubles, one to right-center, and another to left-center. Runs well above average for his position. Likely first round pick with his ability to play a premium position and hit for power. Profiles as everyday ML catcher with All-Star potential. (Bicknell)
7/11/18: Strong-framed catcher with a good feel to hit and power potential. Solid athlete. Showed an above average-to-plus arm with good carry to his target for accurate throws. Consistent 1.95-2.0 POP times. Received well with strong hands and average mobility. Sound swing mechanics with a line drive stroke in the games. Set up slightly open with a spread stance in the back of the box. Turned a minimal load into above average bat speed while maintaining his balance. Showed an advanced approach with good plate discipline. Produced consistent solid at-bats with hard, line-drive contact. More gap power for doubles in the game, but showed an ability to lift and drive the ball to his pull side during batting practice. Above average raw pull power, near average to the opposite field. Displayed all the abilities and skills needed to be a Day One pick in the 2019 draft. (Seifert)
