Off the mound, he worked from a quiet delivery with simple mechanics producing fastballs from 80-81, curveballs 65-67, change up 74-76 and slaughtered 66-70.

The left-handed hitter has an aggressive hack with polished rhythm using a leg kick to generate smooth leverage with pull side juice and a top exit velocity off the tee of 92 mph. On the mound, Maeker gets on top of the ball and creates a strong downhill plane. His fastball sits 80-81, and he mixes a curveball (61-64) and slider (66-70) combo with a 66-70 mph changeup.
