Block

Block has always showed the tools defensively with a quick transfer and strong accurate arm. Threw a 2.02 POP in game on the bag for a CS. Also great to see him get 2 knocks on the day

Hit: RHH. Balanced stance with high hands, moving them towards the catcher and dropping slightly to trigger his load with a barrel tilt and leg lift to a toe tap long stride, finishing on a level swing path with some length, hitting the ball back up the middle and to the oppo gap with regularity.

Arm: RH. C - 78 mph. INF - 81 mph. Short arm action, high ¾ slot, accurate throws on the bag

Defense: 1.99-2.10 pop time. Worked at both catcher and infield. Quick footwork paired with a quick funnel to release, quiet receiver showing good reactions to blocking balls on either side of the plate. On the infield, showed good footwork getting into good fielding position and fielding in the middle of his body with a clean funnel to release and quick release.
