Stocky, strong lower half with room for more strength. Delivery is inconsistent at times; stride leg varies. Arm works with arm speed present. FB 89–92 with potential for more, works top and bottom of zone. CB 74–78, feel to spin with down action. SL 81–82 with feel. Split/change kills spin (as low as 940 rpm), shows sink. Strike thrower with advanced feel for secondary. Will throw harder.

Jackson Wilcox has been turning heads lately. His fastball sits 87-90 mph, topping at 91, and has some late life that makes it tough to square up. His slider (75-79 mph) is a solid pitch, and he also flashed a nice changeup (76-80 mph) that has a chance to be at least average. The 2027 righty has definitely put on some strength, and it’s showing in his stuff.

He’s got a starter’s profile with two solid secondaries that should only get better as he develops. Wilcox has been on our radar since the Underclass State Games, and he’s someone to keep an eye on as we head into the summer. As he adds more consistency to his game, look for his stock to keep rising.

Positional Profile: RHP/OF Athletic RHP flashing solid stuff. Solid delivery and arm action. Look for velo spike in future along with development of pitch ability in zone. Slider has quality action. Change has fade with developing deception. Nice upside to this arm, will be fun to watch develop.
Body: 5-10, 160-pounds. Well proportioned build. Good frame/build to add needed strength inn future. Moves well on the mound.
Delivery: Side step rocker, gets to balance point with high knee lift. Works down slope with stride leg, uses backside well in delivery. Online stride with good finish.
Arm Action: RH. Full circle with length. Arm speed present. TQ slot with good finish.
FB: T87, 84-87 mph. FB has quality spin with fair plane, gets hit. Needs to firm ability to pitch to all quadrants of zone, especially up/down. Expecting velo spike in future. T2311, 2214 average rpm.
SL: 74-76 mph. Solid slider spin present. Flashes quality action, gets swing and misses. 11/5 break. For me this has CB action. T2500, 2382 average rpm.
CH: 79-80 mph. Change when landed shows fade action with developing deception, gets under at times. T1481, 1434 average rpm.
