Riggs Gordon is a catcher with a good frame. He received well behind the plate and showed good carry on his throws. At the plate, he demonstrated solid contact with upside to make an impact as he continues to develop. While there are some areas for adjustment in his hitting approach, he moves well and is expected to get stronger. With baseball bloodlines, Gordon is a player to keep an eye on as his tools continue to mature. Our scouting staff saw him take some good swings in-game this spring off of high level arms. Also saw him command the game from behind the plate.
