Ford is an athletic mover with the look and feel of a next level player. A 4 year starter and looks to either man 2B and form one of the state's better MIF’s with Austin Park at SS, or stay at 3B and form a potent left side of the INF for the 3A powerhouse Juab Wasps. A strong 2022 with the bat as Ford hit .367 with 3 HR’s, 24 RBI and was 2nd on the club with 36 hits. Look for those numbers to only jump off the page as Ford enters his senior campaign. A lean athletic look and symmetrically put together, with a streamlined athletic build. Defensively shows educated feet with some measurement to his actions, but shows instincts and side to side, ranging on the run and making plays. Shows the soft hands and glove actions to potentially be an offensive 2B type at the next level. I really believe this kid can play at a top D2 school or a top of the line JC. The bat shows a quick line drive stroke with abv avg hand/bat speed, with abv avg Blast Motion data, that suggests he will be able to hit good pitching at the next level. Look for a big senior year, as Ford looks to secure an offer soon. If I was a school of the caliber mentioned, I would jump on this kid quickly!
