Huffmyer is 5-10 with an athletic frame that has some projection left to it. He throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, short free arm action and normal effort to his delivery. Shoulders are uphill and closed, lands slightly closed with an athletic finish. Fastball was 63-66, with some sink to it. Curveball had some armspeed and was 55-56 with gradual 1/7 break to it.

Huffmyer is 5-10 with an athletic frame that has some strength in the lower half and some projection left to it. He hits from the left side from a balanced athletic stance, strides on line, short load back. Hips rotate completely and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, slightly uphill line drive swing path, showed a good approach working middle of the field, exit velocity was 73. In the infield, gets behind the ball and fields with average hands, throws from a three-quarters slot, position velocity was 64. On the mound, he throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, short free arm action and some effort to his delivery. Shoulders are level and on line, lands square with an athletic finish. Fastball was 66-69, with some armside run. Curveball had some armspeed and was 58-59 with gradual late 1/7 break to it. Change-up was had some armspeed and was 61-62 with some sink.
