Burkart is 5-11 with a lanky athletic frame that has a lot of projection to it. Defensively, has some actions and lateral quickness at short stop average to above average arm strength present with more arm strength in his future. Plays to his backhand a lot, quick exchange and release from there. At the plate, short slightly uphill line drive swing with some batspeed present, line drive hitter right now with a chance to grow into some gap power as he fills out.
