6-foot-3, 175-pound projectable lean frame. Capable solid at the plate, Souther's best exit velocity was 85 mph. (65.1 mph bat speed average). (20.5 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced crouched stance with a controlled compact load, then uses a short stride. Has efficient bat speed, level uphill swing plane and level finish. Found some barrels during his rounds. Gap to gap approach. While catching, his best throw downs of the day reached a max velocity of 71 mph; had a clean fluid transfer, sure hands, and consistent fluid footwork. produced pop times of 2.13-2.26. Average flexibility and staggered setup. Used a short arm action with a high ¾ slot while showing some accuracy to the base. Clocked a time of 7.36 in the 60-yard dash.
TPG II
Souther is 6-1 with a lankier athletic frame that has plenty of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from an open tall relaxed stance, strides on line, smooth load back to a wrap. Hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short to ball, slightly uphill swing path, line drive swing, showed a pull preference with natural loft in his swing, exit velocity was 77. Behind the plate, clean exchange, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, position velocity was 69 and pop times 2.17-2.35. Showed some accuracy on his throws.

Body: 6-foot-1, 160-pounds. Projectable frame with some length and room to grow.
Hit: RHH. Taller, open set up with high hands. Low leg lift that squares up in load. Shorter, level path to ball. Showed some extension at times.
Power: 74 mph exit velocity from the tee. As gets more rhythm and lower half implementation in swing should continue to develop.
Arm: RH. C - 64 mph. Shorter arm action with sound transfer.
Defense: 2.33-2.41 pop times. Feet gains momentum toward second in throws.
Run: 4.7 timed home-to-first.
