Pinckney is 5-8 with an athletic 145 pound frame that has some strength present and plenty of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a slightly open balanced athletic stance, low leg kick stride on line, smooth load down to a slight wrap. Hips rotate with some violence and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing path with some strength at contact, showed a good approach working primarily gap to gap, extra base power present in the middle of the field, exit velocity was 89. In the infield, rounds the ball and fields with a wider base and soft hands, works through the ball to a quick clean exchange, throws from low three-quarters arm slot, short arm action, position velocity was 75. Ran a 7.43 60 yard dash.
TPG II
Pinckney has an athletic frame that has some strength present and plenty of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a relaxed balanced stance, strides on line, loads down and back to a wrap. Hips rotate completely with violence and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short and quick to the ball, level line drive swing with strength at contact, showed a good approach using the whole field, has some feel for the barrel, exit velocity was 80. In the infield, rounds the ball and fields with a wider base and soft hands, works through the ball to a quick clean exchange, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, position velocity was 76. He ran 7.51 60 yard dash.

Pinckney has an athletic frame that has some strength present and some projection left to it. In the infield, rounds the ball and fields with a good wide base and soft hands, works through ball to a quick clean exchange, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, position velocity was 72. Ran a 7.38 60 yard dash.
Compact athletic frame. Had solid lateral range at shortstop and a quick exchange and release. Flashed ability to throw from multiple arm slots with accuracy across. At the plate it was a short compact swing and is a contact line drive approach.
Athletic stance at the plate, starts square, and makes a direct stride forward landing on line. Hands load back quick with a short move to the ball with quick hand and bat speed through the zone. Aggressive lower half and attacks the ball out front. Some pull side tendency with some power potential at the plate. Exit velocity was 82 mph. High motor in the infield, is active on approach, fields out front, and moves to a deeper exchange. The glove to hand exchange is quick, short arm action, and throws from a three-quarter arm slot. Positional velocity was 77 mph. Ran a 7.22 60. Pickney is a high motor player that swings with intent and is very active defensively. Should be an interesting follow for the next year.
