3.19.16:  Brown has a strong lower half to his athletic frame and hits from the left side. He has good rhythm and a big leg kick stride with a bat waggle. He has a good lower half and maintains balance throughout his swing. He has good batspeed and is very strong and gets good extension through the ball. He has a good approach and uses the entire field, attacking the first pitch that he can hammer. He has gap power to all fields and pull home run power.
4.25.15:  Brown hits from the left side from an open stance. He has a quick bat and generates gap power to all fields with home run power to his pull side. During the game, he flew out to the rightfield warning track on a ball that he got off of the very end of the bat. Behind the plate, he is a solid receiver and an accurate thrower. He was 2.15 between innings and caught three runners stealing during the game with throws that were right on the corner of the bag. He also back picked to first a handful of times, and had the baserunner twice, but the call was missed.

2.22.15 Hit from an open stance that stood tall and balanced.  Smooth load back with fluid rhythm.  Leg kick stride that maintained line and balance.  Lower half exploded to the ball.  Short swing path that had good extension.  Line drive stroke with power that should find the gaps consistently.  Behind the plate, threw from a loose, high ¾ arm slot.  Throws showed accuracy and carry.  Quiet setup with soft hands.  Good receiving skills.  Clean footwork that gained ground towards second.  Pop times were 1.94 - 2.08.
