Manning is 5-10 with a lanky athletic frame that has a lot of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a slightly open balanced athletic stance, leg kick stride on line, smooth load back to a wrap. Hips rotate completely and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, goes straight to the ball, level line drive swing path with some extension through the ball, showed good approach working gap to gap, exit velocity was 76. In the infield, gets body behind the ball and fields with a wider base and average hands, works through the ball to a clean exchange, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, short arm action, position velocity was 68. Ran a 4.71 home to first. On the mound, he throws from a three-quarters arm slot, longer free arm action with some effort to his delivery. Drop and drive delivery, shoulders are level and on line, lands on line with an athletic finish. Fastball was 68-70, with some late armside run. Slider was 62-65 with good armspeed and gradual 10/4 break to it. Change-up was 63-64 with good armspeed and heavy sink to it.
