Tarrh possesses a projectable frame with some athleticism. On the mound he sat 79-82 mph and everything moved. Consistent cutting action on the fastball seemed to get a lot of bad contact and some swings and misses. Breaking ball had 11/5 shape at 73-74 mph and flashed solid arm speed on the pitch. He was efficient around the zone and the fastball worked to both sides and both ends of the zone.
Preseason All-State 2/17/18
Tarrh is 6-3 with an athletic frame. He throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with a longer loose arm action that is quick, high effort to his delivery. Shoulders are uphill and on line, lands slightly open with a hard fall off finish. Fastball was 82-84 with good downward plane and some late hard run to it. Curveball was 69-72 with good armspeed and late sharp power 12/6 break to it. Change-up was 76-77 with good armspeed.
