Cabanban is 5-7 with an athletic frame that has some projection left to it. He hits from the left side from an open upright stance, strides on line, loads back, hips rotate completely, has some balance during his swing. Keeps hands inside ball, slightly uphill swing path, line drive swing that works in the gaps, showed slight pull preference, exit velocity was 83. In the outfield, gets body behind ball and fields with above average hands. Works through ball to a clean exchange, throws from a three-quarters arm slot, short free action, position velocity was 77. On the mound, he throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with short free arm action and some effort. Shoulders are uphill and slightly closed, lands closed with a fall off finish that has some recoil. Fastball was 73-75, touching 77, with downward plane and some late sink. Curveball was 63-66 with gradual 1/7 break. Change-up was 68-71 with good armspeed and sink to it.
