3.23.17: Cherry has a lanky frame, at short, he has good quick feet and lateral range. Smooth actions and soft hands. Short, loose arm action throwing from a low three-quarters arm slot. At the plate, switch hitter, hit from the left side in this game, open athletic stance, short stride on line. Short, level line drive swing with some batspeed. Good approach, worked middle of the field.

8.10.16:  Cherry has a lanky frame and throws from a three-quarters arm slot. Long, loose arm action that is quick, normal to easy effort. Shoulders uphill and closed as he strides to an open landing. Fastball sat 82-84, touching 85 with late run. Curveball had sharp, late 11/5 break running 71-73. Change-up had good armspeed and sink at 73. Showed good command. Cherry has a short, loose arm action and throws primarily from a high three-quarters arm slot, dropping down occasionally. Strong arm with accuracy and carry, position velocity of 85. Soft hands, quick fluid footwork, and a quick, clean exchange, plays through ball well. Switch hitter, from the right side slightly open athletic stance. Slight load back and short stride, explosive lower half and good balance. Fast bat and level swing path, line drive hitter with a pull approach, exit velocity of 84. From the left side, slight crouch to stance, short leg kick stride and load back. Ok hips and average balance, pull approach and a level swing, exit velocity of 81.
11.1.15: Cherry has an athletic frame and throws from a three-quarters arm slot with a smooth drop and drive delivery. He has a long, loose arm action and a quick arm that generates velocity with normal effort. His shoulders are uphill and on line as he strides out to a square landing before finishing in an athletic position. Cherry’s fastball had hard run and was 78-79. He threw a sharp 11/5 breaking curveball with decent armspeed that ran 67-69. His changeup had fade and decent armspeed and was 67.
From the right side hit from a tall, narrow stance.  Robotic load back with a slight arm bar.  Leg kick stride that stays on line and balanced.  At times did not get back to center and hit off back side.  Level swing path that cut across the ball.  Bat exit velocity of 83 mph.  Line drive hitter.  From the left side hit from a balanced athletic stance.  Smooth load back with a leg kick stride that was controlled.  Did not get back to center.  Average lower half turn.  Level swing path with decent extension.  Line drive hitter.  Threw from a quick, high ¾ arm slot with some accuracy.  Positional velocity of 78 mph.  Average hands with clean footwork that was stiff at times.  Quick, clean exchanges and played through the ball.
