3.18.17: Pearson has a very lanky frame and throws from a three-quarters arm slot with a drop and drive delivery. Long, fluid arm action that is quick with easy effort. Shoulders closed and uphill as he strides to a closed landing with a fall off finish. Fastball had heavy arm side run and good angle, sitting 79-82. Change-up had good arm speed and heavy run at 75. Curveball had sharp 1/7 break, running 70-72, he showed the ability to change its shape.

6.3.16:  Pearson is a lanky lefty that throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with a drop and drive delivery. Arm action is short and quick with some effort. Shoulders are uphill and closed, square landing with slight fall off. Fastball had angle and late run, sitting 81-84. Curveball was 72 with 1/7 break.
11.1.15: Pearson has a lanky, athletic frame that is projectable. He throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with a smooth drop and drive delivery. He has a short, loose arm action and a quick arm that generates velocity with normal effort. His shoulders are closed and slightly uphill and he lands a bit closed, creating a crossfire effect and adding deception. Pearson’s fastball had heavy run and sat 78-80. His curveball had late, sharp, 1/7 break to and good armspeed, running 69-71. His changeup was thrown with good armspeed and was 73. Pearson showed good command of all three pitches and demonstrated an advanced feel for pitching.
