Kade continues to progress behind the plate. Is a really solid defender behind the plate and can shut down an opponent's running game. Abrisz shows strong hands, blocks well, and throws show legitimate carry and are accurate around the bag. Abrisz is balanced with a clean exchange and short arm action. Pop times between innings varied between 2.00-2.04 and Abrisz gave a truer feel to times as he did not leak out on pitches and stayed under control.

Athletic frame with some projection left to it. Was one of the big standouts on the day. Had a solid day behind the plate. Like Cotten, the pitchers struggled at times to find the zone and that made it a busy day for Abrisz. Abrisz saved multiple runs and halted runners from moving up at times with a tireless work ethic behind the plate. Had the opportunity to show the arm off in the third by throwing out a runner at second and then two batters later back picking a runner at first. Was very aggressive with the throws and looks to be able to slow down the running game for opponents. At the plate Kade had a nice day as well. He got into deep counts and produced quality at bats on multiple occasions, twice going 8-10+ pitches into an at bat resulting in a walk and a one out flyball to right that ended up scoring two after a miscommunication in the outfield. Kade showed the ability to battle at bats and drive in runs when needed for this Menchville team and will be a big part of their success this spring.
