Henson is 6-4 with a lanky projectable 180 pound frame that has a lot of room to add strength. He hits from the right side from a taller slightly open balanced athletic stance, stride food stays in place, smooth back to a wrap. Hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing path with some strength at contact and extension through the ball. Showed a good approach working gap to gap with some carry and power power present in the gaps, exit velocity was 91. In the infield, gets body behind ball and fields with average hands, works through the ball to a clean exchange, throws from a three-quarters arm slot, short arm action, position velocity was 75. Ran a 7.52 60 yard dash. On the mound, he throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, longer loose quick arm action and normal effort to his delivery. Shoulders are slightly uphill and slightly closed, lands slightly open with an athletic finish. Fastball was 76-81, touching 82, with some late armside run to it that gets some depth as well. Slider was 67-68 with good armspeed and sharp 10/4 break, pitch has some shape to it. Change-up was 67-70 with good armspeed and a heavy late fade to it.

Henson is 6-4 with a long lanky frame that has a lot projection and room to add strength to it. Throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, long loose arm action and normal effort to his delivery. Drop and drive delivery, creates some deception with shoulders closed and slightly downhill, lands on line with an athletic finish and some recoil. Fastball was 80-84 heavy armside run and a bit of depth as well. Curveball was 65-67 with good armspeed and sharp 11/5 break. Change-up was 69-70 with good armspeed and heavy fade. Showed ability to throw strikes with all three pitches and got swings and misses with his fastball. Showed more control than command. Threw a heavy ball and has a chance to add velocity as he adds strength.
