Stewart is 6-0 with an athletic frame that has plenty of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a tall relaxed balanced stance, low leg kick stride on line, smooth load back to a wrap. Hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, quick to the ball, uphill swing path with some strength at contact and extension up through the ball, showed a good approach working gap to gap, swing generates natural loft and carry, exit velocity was 86. In the outfield, gets body behind the ball and fields through it with average hands, quick clean exchange, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, short free arm action, position velocity was 75. Ran a 4.46 home to first. On the mound, he throws from a three-quarters arm slot, long free arm action with some effort to his delivery. Drop and drive delivery, shoulders are uphill and closed, lands open with an athletic finish. Fastball was 65-73, touching 74, with some downward plane to it and a bit of hard late armside run to it. Slider was 66-69 with good armspeed and hard 11/5 downer break to it. Change-up was 63-64 with some armspeed and heavy sink.
