3.23.17: Sanders has a lanky frame, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot. Shoulders slightly closed and uphill, square athletic landing. Fastball was 70-74. Curveball had gradual 2/8 break.

8.10.16:  Sanders has a 6-2 frame with a strong lower half and throws from a three-quarters arm slot with a short arm action and normal effort. Shoulders are uphill and slightly closed as he strides out, athletic finish with some recoil. Fastball was 76-77 with some angle. 1/7 curveball had decent armspeed, 64-67. At first base, long high three-quarters arm slot, position velocity of 72. Soft hands, quick footwork, clean quick exchange. Hits from the left side from a tall stance with low hands. Loads back with leg kick stride, ok lower half and average balance. Level line drive swing with gap power with his pull side. Exit velocity of 81.
2.15.15 Sanders has an athletic frame with a strong lower half and throws from a low three-quarters slot. He has a long arm action that is loose. He has tall and fall mechanics and uphill shoulders. He lands open and comes to an athletic finish. Sanders’ fastball sat 70-71 mph, touching 73 mph, with slight run to it. He threw a slider with gradual 1.5/7.5 action to it that he slowed his arm down to throw in the 55-57 mph range. He threw a fading change-up with decent armspeed that ran 63-66 mph. Sanders’ did a good job of working down with all of his pitches.  Positionally, Sanders hits from the left side and has a tall, balanced stance. His load is back and he has a medium stride. He has an explosive lower half and good balance throughout his swing with average batspeed that generated an exit velocity of 76 mph off of the tee. He has a good, line drive approach and a short, level bat path with a fluid rhythm to his swing. Defensively, Sanders throws from a three-quarters arm slot with a long arm action. He has quick feet and a good understanding of how to move around first base and average hands.
