VA/DC PreSeason All-State Central
Lyman is 6-3 with a lankier athletic 200 pound frame that has some strength present and plenty of projection left to it. He throws from a three-quarters arm slot, long loose quick arm action and some effort to his delivery. Drop and drive delivery, shoulders are slightly uphill and closed, lands open with an athletic finish and some recoil. Fastball was 87-90, with some downward angle and a bit of late armside run to it that also has some depth. Curveball was 73-75 with good armspeed and late hard 10/4 break to it. Change-up was 77-79 with good armspeed and heavy fade.
VA/DC State Games
Lyman is 6-3 with an athletic frame that has some strength present and plenty of projection left to it. He throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, short loose quick arm action and normal effort to his delivery. Shoulders are uphill and slightly closed, lands open with an athletic finish. Fastball was 84-86, touching 88, with downward plane and some late run to armside. Curveball had good armspeed and was 67-70 with hard sharp 11/5 break to it, some shape to it, flashed swing and miss. Change-up was 73-74 with some armspeed and some late run.
