3.31.16: Zubovich has a lanky frame and throws from a low three-quarters arm slot with a smooth drop and drive delivery. His arm action is short and loose, generating easy velocity. His shoulders are closed as he strides out to a square, athletic landing. Zubovich’s fastball had late run, sitting 80-82. His changeup had fade with decent armspeed, running 71-72. His curveball had gradual 12/6 break, running 63-65.
2/22/2015: Zubovich stands 6-foot-1 and has a lanky frame. He has a smooth tilt and topple delivery and throws from a high three-quarters arm slot. He has a long, loose arm action and a quick armstroke that generates easy velocity. His shoulders are uphill and he strides out on line before landing a bit open and coming to an athletic finish. Zubovich’s fastball had slight run to it and sat 79-81, touching 82. He threw a slow-breaking 11/5 curveball that ran 60-63. He also threw a fading change-up that he commanded well and sat 68-70.
