VA/DC State Games

Wiles is 6-1 with an athletic frame that has strength present and some projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a balanced athletic stance, big leg kick stride on line, smooth load down and back. Hips rotate completely with some violence. Hands stay inside, quick to the ball, uphill swing path, strong contact point and some extension through the ball, showed a primarily pull approach with the ability to use the rest of the field, some power present to his pull side, exit velocity was 88. In the outfield, gets behind ball and fields it with above average hands, clean exchange, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with a longer arm action, position velocity was 80.

Positional Profile: OF/RHP
Body: 6-foot-1, 185-pounds.
Hit: RHH. Hits from a slightly open taller set up. Path is level to the ball with uphill lift in finish. Gets backside involvement. Shows some bat speed. With quick hands and wants to drive the baseball. Shows some rhythm at the plate. Got out of sync at times. Potential at the plate. 
Power: 82 mph exit velocity from the tee. Shows some strength in swing. Intent to lift the baseball.
Arm: RH.  OF 83 mph. Shorter arm action from almost over the top slot. Throws have some carry on them.
Defense: Stays on balls of feet. Works thru the ball with clean exchange. 
Run:  4.64 runner Home-to-first time
