Hampton is 5-10 with a lanky frame that has a lot of projection left. He hits from the right side from a slightly open balanced athletic stance, short stride on line, short load back to a slight wrap. Hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short to the ball, level line drive swing path with some strength at contact, showed a slight pull preference, gets some natural loft in his swing, potential to grow into power as he adds strength, exit velocity was 86. In the infield, rounds the ball and fields with a wider base and average hands, works through the ball to a quick clean exchange, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, long arm action, position velocity was 72. Ran a 7.67 60 yard dash.
