8.10.16:  Miles has an athletic 6-0 frame and throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with a smooth drop and drive delivery. Short, loose arm action is quick and generates velocity with normal effort. Shoulders slightly uphill and closed as he strides to an open landing with fall off finish. Fastball sat 84-85, touching 86 and was heavy with slight run and downward plane. Outstanding curveball with sharp, power 12/6 break and good armspeed at 72. Splitter with decent armspeed and armside run was 75-77.
4.19.16:  Miles has an athletic frame and throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with a drop and drive delivery. His arm action is short and quick, generating velocity with some effort. His shoulders are uphill and on line as he strides to a square landing with an athletic finish. His fastball had some plane and late run, sitting 84-86. His curveball flashed plus when it was down, with sharp power 12/6 break, running 71-73. Miles showed good composure, as he got squeezed later in his outing and kept battling without getting visibly frustrated.
4.1.16:  Miles has an athletic frame and good actions at third base. He has a quick first step and good hands, throwing from a high three-quarters arm slot with a short, loose, above average arm. At the plate, he has a short, quick swing with a gap to gap approach and the potential to develop power. On the mound, he throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with a quick, short, loose arm action with some effort. His shoulders are closed and he has a square landing and athletic finish. Miles’ fastball ran 81-85, touching 86 with late run. He threw a power 12/6 curveball, running 70-73.
7.14.15 Miles has an athletic frame and throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with a drop and drive delivery. He has a long, quick arm action that generates velocity with regular effort. His shoulders are uphill and he strides out on line to a square landing before falling off a bit as he finishes. Miles’ fastball had slight sink to it and he touched 82, working primarily at 80-81. His curveball had 12/6 action to it and ran 67-70.  Offensively, hit from a balanced/athletic stance. Had a smooth load back and hands dropped slightly. Had a short stride that stayed online. Maintained good balance throughout the swing with a fluid and rhythm and a strong lower half. Took a very good approach during the round. Had strong hands and fast bat speed. Was aggressive through the zone with the barrel. Had an exit velocity of 86 mph. Line drive stroke with gap-to-gap potential. In the field, threw from a high three-quarter arm slot with a short arm action. Throws were accurate and had some carry. Showed good hands that worked out front. Had average footwork with very clean exchanges. Footwork will get better once he plays through the ball. Had a positional velocity of 83 mph.

2.15.15 Hit from an open/balanced stance. Hands went back and down during load with a slight bar. Short stride back to neutral. Had balance in the swing. Good approach at the plate with inconsistent rhythm. Had a level path to the ball that was long occasionally. Line drive swing to the pull side. Had an Exit Velocity of 82 mph. In the field, threw from a high ¾ arm slot with a long, loose arm action that was accurate. Waited on the ball and fielded the ball deep in his stance on his heels. Showed average hands with quick footwork and clean/long exchanges. Showed average arm strength with a Positional Velocity of 79 mph. 2.15.15 Miles has an athletic frame and throws from a three-quarters arm slot. He has a drop and drive delivery with a bit of a wrap to his arm action before a quick armstroke. His shoulders are on line and a bit uphill and his landing is a bit open, causing him to fall off a bit as he finishes. Miles threw a flat fastball that ran 77-78 mph, touching 79 mph. He threw a 12/6 curveball with gradual break that was up and ran 65-66 mph. He also threw a sinking change-up with decent armspeed that ran 72-74 mph.
