McCann is 6-2 with an athletic frame that has some strength present and some projection left to it. He throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, short free arm action and some effort to his delivery. Shoulders are uphill and closed, lands slightly closed with a bit of a fall off finish and some recoil. Fastball was 71-74, touching 75, with some late hard cut to it. Curveball was 63-64 with good armspeed and sharp 1/7 break to it. Showed a change-up in warm-ups with good armspeed and heavy fade to it.
