If you ever wanted to find Leach all you had to do was look on the bases. With present above average raw power the 6-foot-3, 220-pound Virginia Tech recruit has a chance to become a monster threat in the middle of the Hokies lineup for years to come. He totaled 3-for-5 at the ECP with his best bolt a 105 mph double to the opposite field gap. Defensively, he didn’t look to be the most fluid defender at first base, but the ball found his mitt consistently. He also moves well for his size, clocking a 7.03 sixty and a 4.42 down the line from the left side.
