Big, strong, fast and athletic at 6-foot-4, 230 pounds, backstop Travis Reifsnider certainly looks the part. After a 2021 season that saw him slash .314/.448/.514 with three home runs and 14 RBI to go along with eight stolen bases the left handed masher got off to a strong start in 2022. His best bolt was a bullet home run 415' to right field on a full count against Parker Messick in his first at-bat of the season. He turned around a 91 mph fastball, drilling it deep to his pull side with an exit velocity of 106.7 mph. There is a hole in his swing on the outer half, but his strength will cover up for some flaws, especially against lesser pitching. Reifsnider finished the series 2-for-7 with a walk and stolen base.

Longer frame with room to add strength to. Hits from a taller, open set up. Short, smooth load with fast bat speed and hands that work well. Got pull happy at times. Should develop into a power hitting threat pretty quickly. Nice rhtyhm. Solid actions around the bag at third base. Good first step defensively. Moves well, clean hands and accurate throws from the corner.
